This position is an Expert Level DCIPS position. Secures classified information in accordance with E.O.13526.Identifies and understands how internal and external issues (e.g., economic, political, social trends) impact the work of the organization.Seeks or collects and synthesizes information from a variety of stakeholders and sources in an objective, unbiased manner to reach a conclusion, goal, or judgment, and to enable strategic and leadership decision making.Serves as an expert consultant providing analysis and assessment of initiatives, projects, or programs with strategic, enterprise, or tactical impacts relative to the organization's strategy.Responsible for performing various technical and advisory functions relative to the personnel assigned to the particular project segment.Participates in the resolution of complex resource allocations performing in-depth, rigorous analysis of program, technical, and budget trade-offs and explores alternatives.Develops, prepares and conducts oral and/or written presentations to report monthly analysis of project or program status in order to identify and isolate potential problems.Provides extensive coordination and guidance to a wide range of government, military, and contractor personnel on methods, processes, practices, lessons learned and risk mitigation. Reaches out to operational users to ensure proper program support. Manages daily programmatic functions, interfaces with mission partners across the IC and DoD.Explains performance expectations to subordinate supervisors and employees directly supervised and provides regular feedback on strengths and weaknesses.Ensures reasonable equity among units of performance standards developed, modified and/or interpreted and rating techniques.Advises staff regarding policies, procedures, and directives of higher-level management or headquarters. Directs, coordinates, and oversees work of subordinates.
